Château Rocher, a medieval military fortress in the heart of the Combrailles, protected the border between the Auvergne and Bourbonnais regions. From here, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Sioule gorges and the Rochocol meander.

Description

The castle section is currently closed to the public, but the grassed esplanade is accessible. An exhibition devoted to the works, detailing the first phase of work completed in 2018, can be viewed at the entrance to the Château.
Walks to discover the site and its history are available for groups by appointment.
