Museum of the Resistance - François-Charles Maestracci
A presentation of the actions of the Resistance during World War II in the Combrailles. Numerous documents explain the rise of fachisme, of chronology and the history of the movements of the Resistance. Guided visit and projection are available by reservation.
Description
Chronology of the Second World War and history of Resistance movements, particularly in the Combrailles and Zone 13. The museum offers a DVD with interviews of former Resistance fighters and information about the Resistance camps in Combrailles for sale to deepen the visit. Also on sale: a small booklet by Paul Roche.
Possibility of arranging an appointment to visit Nestor Perret's camp. Municipal museum run by the Amicale des Anciens Résistants et Amis de la Zone 13.
