Fishing site - River La Sioule (Haute Sioule)

Haute Sioule AAPPMA manages about 39 km of Sioule river and 54 km of streams. Three no-kill courses (courses without killing) and 2 fishing reserves are present on our fishing course.

Description

On the Sioule, all fishing methods authorised in 1st category can be used.
Grayling is no-kill throughout the Sioule.
Our No-Kill routes are :
- All fishing methods, single hook without barb or crushed barb.
- Catch and release is compulsory for trout and grayling.
- The size of fish kept must comply with current legislation (e.g. Pike: mesh size, 60 cm Number, 2 / Day).
The AAPPMA has opted for inter-federal reciprocity. You need a Puy de Dôme fishing licence or a ‘Halieutic stamp’ to fish on our course.

Regulations :
Trout: Minimum size 25 cm / maximum 4 salmonids per day and per angler. Fishing authorised from 08/03/2025 to 21/09/2025.
Grayling no-kill throughout the Sioule river.
Pike: minimum size 60 cm / maximum 2 pikes per day and per angler. Fishing authorised from 26/04/2025 to 21/09/2025
