Etang de Farges stretches over 12.5 ha. Ideal place for fishing amateurs or professionals. Pedestrian and picnic facilities. Varied fish population (salmonids, predators, carp, etc.), night fishing.

Description

Regular stocking: twice a month for trout and once a year for whites. Varied fish population: trout, tench, roach, and carp (up to 15kg) and presence of predators (pike, zander).

Daily regulations and sizes: 6 trout, 1 pike (minimum 55 cm / maximum 75 cm), 1 zander (minimum 55 cm / maximum 75 cm), 2 tench (minimum 55 cm / maximum 75 cm), unlimited fry, carp catch and release
Regulations can be found on the fishing site on a notice board and from the fishing warden.
Type of fishing: Trout, Predators, Carp during the day, Carp at night (catch and release)

Fishing permits are sold in Saint-Germain-près-Herment:
- from the warden on site (06 72 37 65 73)
- At the Town Hall on Mondays (afternoons) and Thursdays (04 73 22 10 50)
